In more recent news...

I've been accepted to SIT's Graduate Institute for International Education with a focus in advising. I sent in my enrollment deposit last week, so I'll be moving to Vermont in August! The program includes one academic year on campus and then a professional practicum which must last at least 6 months. After the practicum I will come back to campus, give a presentation and then I'm finished! I've only heard good things about SIT from those who have actually heard of it, so I'm really excited about this!

At IIE, my supervisor is going to go on maternity leave in the middle of March and she has asked me to take her place as advisor for 2 months. So in the mornings I'll be advising at IIE, and in the evenings I'll be teaching at Language Link. This is such an amazing opportunity for me to actually get real hands-on experience doing the thing I want to do! Ryan and a few others are concerned that I will burn out from working too much, but I think that I can handle it.
